About Clearwater Group
The Clearwater Group is the parent company for a small group of complementary engineering businesses; Clearwater Technologies, Clearwater Systems and Clearwater Industrial.
As a company Clearwater Group have seen sustained growth over recent years which has seen us grow to a medium size company who offer good quality work with the commitment to stand behind the work we do.
We are recognised throughout the UK as being specialists in the area of e-coat for design, management, installation and servicing of membranes. Our quality of work, competitive pricing and commitment have earned us trust and respect throughout the UK automotive industry.
Established in 1981, Clearwater Industrial soon became specialists in separation technologies. From installations through to the servicing of membranes, Clearwater Industrial are experts in all aspects of separation, including tubes, spirals, flatsheet, anolyte cells and anodes.
In 1998, the need for a single source solution to paint shop requirements saw Clearwater Industrial incorporate it's own systems design and installation company, Clearwater Technologies. Together, Clearwater Group was created, providing products, systems installations, fluid and separation technology.
Two years ago, Clearwater Systems was incorporated into Clearwater Group. Clearwater Systems are specialists in many aspects of effluent treatment, and all types of liquid waste. Collaborating with The Department of Trade and Industry on research and development, the UK Government funded a series of initiatives that culminated in the successful development of a range of systems dedicated to oil and metal fines removal.
Ultra-Tech have been the UK arm of Rhone Poulenc ( or Rhone Pollenc) for the last 20 years. In 2004 their Industrial businesses was sold to the French multinational Orelis who are now part of Novasep.
Both Ultra-Tech and Orelis approached Clearwater Group at the end of last year to propose that Ultra-Tech be taken over by the Clearwater Group.
The resulting change has seen the MD of Ultra Tech join the Clearwater team which has ensured a smooth handover from a company and customer point of view. It has also seen customers benefit from Clearwater Group's now broader service, support and product portfolio.
