1 month payback for new range of coolant recovery machines
A newly developed range of coolant recovery systems offers real benefits for a broad spectrum of engineering companies and manufacturers using coolants, lubricants or cutting oils.
Developed by the Clearwater Group from Napton Holt in Warwickshire, they are now launching their range of coolant recovery systems. The systems extend coolant life and reduce tooling expenditure dramatically.
The different systems available are the Workshop System (throughputs from 20L/hr), Dedicated Factory System (throughputs from 2,000L/hr to 30,000L/hr) and the High Capacity System (for throughputs in excess of 30,000L/hr). The advanced technologies used in these systems include vertical gravity separation and hydrocyclones. Amongst current users of Clearwater filtration systems are Ford Dagenham, Braemar and Land Rover.
Ford Dagenham have greatly benefited from Clearwater's Dedicated Factory System. Their wheel rim forming operations have seen a payback of less than 1 month become a reality. After the installation of Clearwater's Dedicated Factory System, large cost savings have been achieved by the lowering of costs associated with coolant recycling, reduction of scrap and tankering. One year after installation, Ford Dagenham have achieved cost savings of £285k. In addition to these savings, Ford have halved the cost of their tooling.
Other customers include Land Rover who have benefited from the installation of Clearwater's Large Capacity System and Braemar who are using Clearwater's Workshop system.
Also where there are environmental issues relating to safety, a cleaner environment, reduced bacteria, mould and nauseating smells, Clearwater coolant recovery systems offer major additional benefits.
