Introduction to Clearwater Systems
About us
Clearwater Systems specialises in many aspects of effluent treatment and closed looping. Effluent encompasses, all types of liquid waste and indeed anything that flows out or forth from a process. If your business regularly disposes of liquid waste as part of a process, then Clearwater can help. In most cases Clearwater can significantly reduce your waste volumes and as a result reduce your disposal costs. Furthermore in certain circumstances expensive additives such as lubricants can be reclaimed, further adding to the commercial benefits of implementing a Clearwater system.
With environmental policies becoming more stringent by the day, this latest division to the Clearwater Group aims not only to commercially reduce waste disposal costs, but aid companies abilities to achieve environmental accreditations.
History
Clearwater has been supplying component parts to effluent systems for over 20 years.
Due to ever increasing efficiency demands and environmental responsibilities, requests regarding effluent treatment have dramatically increased. In response to this growing interest, Clearwater has now formed a specific division to this complementary Group of businesses.
The Environment
From world summits discussing Sustainable Development to local recycling initiatives, we are all becoming more aware of human impact on the environment.
In business terms responsible organisations have for some time been considering the impact of their activities on the environment. To help implement a co-ordinated framework of controls to manage this, the International Standards Organisation created ISO 14001.
Whether your company needs accreditations such as ISO 14001 to win business or just wants to 'do their bit' for the environment, Clearwater can tailor a solution to meet your goals.
Where circumstances allow Clearwater can;
- Reduce the number of tanker visits to your premises thus reducing cost and saving energy.
- Separate water from your effluent to use in other parts of your processes.
- Reclaim additives such as oil's, lubricants and coolants thus recycling and further reducing costs.
- Commercial Benefits
Recycling, reclaiming and closed looping not only say something about the type of company you are, but often have a direct commercial benefit.

Product range
Clearwater has a range of products to deal with effluent created from a myriad of different processes. In larger applications, bespoke solutions are created to deal with the large volumes of effluent.
Small volumes of effluent with narrow contamination can be met with many of our, 'off the shelf' products. In many cases some tailoring is necessary to ensure optimum performance, but capital outlay is reduced based on this 'batch production' approach.
